In 2024, leaked CCTV footage broadcast by an Israeli television channel appeared to show Israeli soldiers at the Sde Teiman detention facility concealing a Palestinian detainee behind riot shields and sexually assaulting him.

The footage is examined in Bodies of Evidence: Israel's Darkest Weapon, an Al Jazeera original investigation into how Israeli authorities systematically subject Palestinian detainees to sexual violence and torture.
