As countries race to meet their climate goals, can the energy transition succeed without China? At the Fourth China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), Australian energy leaders said the answer is no.

John Grimes, CEO of the Asia-Pacific Renewable Energy Council; Tim Buckley, director of Climate Energy Finance; and Qian Zhengyang of Mingyang Smart Energy Group discussed China-Australia clean energy cooperation and the role of green supply chains in the global energy transition.

"Countries around the world should partner with China to accelerate the transition," Grimes said. Buckley described China as Australia's "number one trading partner."
