Trump-Rutte 'bromance' hits a snag | DW News
US President Donald Trump demanded more money and loyalty from NATO, or as he put it to the chief of the military alliance, "a little kiss" at their Oval Office meeting in Washington on Wednesday. Secretary General Marc Rutte was quickly on his feet, to interrupt the US Commander-in-Chief and break into a bout of "show and tell" - to impress his so-called "daddy" with a chart showing an unprecedented surge in military investment in the organization. The theatrics have a high entertainment value, but DW's Ben Fajzullin asked Michael Kimmage, Director of the Kennan Institute, if there was any substance to the show.
