Ancient scrolls unread for 2,000 years revealed with AI

Researchers used AI and “virtual unwrapping” to reveal never-before-seen texts inside charred Roman scrolls buried by Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., opening a new window into the ancient world. NBC News' Claudio Lavanga reports on the exciting discovery.
