Wassa Amenfi Chief Donates Relief Items to Flood Victims in Samreboi
The Paramount Chief of the Wassa Amenfi Traditional Area, Tetrete Okuamoah Sekyim, has donated relief items to support more than 1,000 people displaced by recent floods in Samreboi.
The donation, made in response to urgent appeals for assistance, included 100 bags of rice, 50 student mattresses, 25 boxes of canned fish, and 25 packs of toiletries.
Presenting the items on behalf of the Paramount Chief, the Divisional Chief of Nkwanta Kesse, Nana Ntori Bonkyi, expressed sympathy to affected families and urged fair and transparent distribution of the relief items to ensure all victims benefit.
The intervention forms part of efforts by traditional authorities to support communities affected by natural disasters in the area.
