This SCOTUS decision could impact more than a million people in the U.S.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court sided with the Trump administration over Haitians and Syrians on immigration protections. According to the Congressional Research Service, there were nearly 1.3 million people with Temporary Protected Status as of March 2025 from 17 countries, including 330,735 Haitians and 3,860 Syrians.
