Director-General of the Ghana Maritime Authority, Kamal-Deen Ali, joined staff and seafarers in frontline operations as part of activities marking the International Day of the Seafarer.
The initiative was aimed at recognising the invaluable contributions of seafarers to Ghana's maritime industry while demonstrating the Authority's commitment to improving service delivery across the sector.
The engagement also highlighted the critical role seafarers play in global trade, transportation, and economic development, as well as the need to continue investing in their welfare and professional development.
The Ghana Maritime Authority says it remains committed to supporting policies and programmes that strengthen Ghana's maritime workforce and industry competitiveness.
