A political analyst has suggested that the National Democratic Congress (National Democratic Congress) may benefit from holding an early congress as a way of managing growing internal tensions.

Drawing comparisons with past internal disputes within the New Patriotic Party, he noted that while opposition parties can often absorb internal disagreements, governing parties face greater risks when such disputes play out publicly.

According to him, unresolved tensions could gradually undermine party cohesion and create reputational challenges if not addressed promptly.

He therefore called for proactive measures and internal engagement to strengthen unity and prevent divisions from affecting the party's preparations for future elections.
