Spokesperson for the Safo Kantanka family, Dr. Emmanuel Boakye, says former Dome-Kwabenya MP Sarah Adwoa Safo is in critical condition following an alleged shooting incident.
He claims she was shot multiple times while seated in her vehicle as she attempted to serve her younger brother, Kwadwo Safo Akofena, with a court notice aimed at halting his installation as successor to the Kristo Asafo Mission founded by their late father.
He further indicated that arrangements are being made to fly her abroad for advanced medical treatment.
Authorities are yet to independently confirm the full circumstances surrounding the incident, as investigations continue.
