Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has announced that government has secured scholarships for more than 30 health tutors to pursue PhD programmes.
Speaking at the Joint Matriculation Ceremony for specialised nursing students in Accra, he explained that the initiative is designed to strengthen specialist nursing education across the country.
According to him, improving the capacity of tutors will directly enhance healthcare delivery, training standards, and the overall quality of medical services nationwide.
The move forms part of broader efforts to build a more skilled and resilient health workforce in Ghana.
