E5 leaders want to renew NATO and strengthen its European pillar | DW News

Five of Europe's most powerful NATO member states — known collectively as the E5 — have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the alliance. The leaders of Germany, France, Italy, the UK, and Poland met in Berlin to reinforce Europe's stance ahead of the upcoming NATO summit in Ankara.
