France experiences its hottest day since measurements began in 1947

France on Wednesday experienced its hottest day since measurements began in 1947, the national weather agency said, breaking a record set just a day earlier. Around 44 million of the nearly 67 million people in France are currently under the highest red alert level for heat. FRANCE 24's Luke Shrago reports.
