GES Investigates Viral Video of Student Allegedly Attacking Colleague
The Ministry of Education has directed the Ghana Education Service (GES) to investigate a viral video showing a student allegedly assaulting another student.
The footage, which has circulated widely on social media, shows a student repeatedly attacking a fellow learner in the presence of others, raising concerns about discipline and student safety in schools.
In a statement, Deputy Minister for Education Clement Abas Apaak confirmed that the matter had been brought to the Ministry's attention and was immediately referred to GES leadership for urgent action.
Dr. Apaak stressed that acts of lawlessness, violence, and indiscipline within Ghana's educational system will not be tolerated, assuring the public that appropriate steps will be taken following investigations.
