Relief on Accra–Kasoa Highway as Tricycles Are Finally Removed
Relief has finally come to motorists and residents along the Weija–McCarthy Hill stretch of the Accra–Kasoa Highway after laden tricycles that had occupied the outer lane for weeks have been removed.
The tricycles had caused severe traffic congestion, disrupted business activities, and raised safety and public health concerns along the busy corridor.
A visit by Channel One News confirmed that the outer lane has now been fully cleared, restoring smooth traffic flow and easing movement for motorists using the stretch.
Residents and business owners have welcomed the development, describing it as a major relief after weeks of frustration and delays.
