Education Committee Speaks on Urgent School Infrastructure Challenges in Sekondi-Takoradi

School infrastructure challenges remain widespread across Sekondi-Takoradi, with several institutions in poor condition and limited resources slowing refurbishment efforts.

According to Channel One News' Western Regional Bureau Chief, Akwasi Agyei Annim, concerns about school infrastructure have been captured in the Metropolitan Assembly's budget and are being progressively addressed.

Chairman of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly Education Committee, Gabriel Ato Mensah, says additional repairs are being pushed through the Executive Committee to improve safety and learning conditions for students and teachers.

He further called on parents, alumni, communities, and philanthropists to support efforts to rehabilitate deteriorating school infrastructure across the metropolis.
