Relief has returned to motorists and residents along the Weija–McCarthy Hill stretch of the Accra-Kasoa Highway after the removal of laden tricycles that had occupied the outer lane for several weeks.

The tricycles had contributed to severe traffic congestion, disrupting movement and raising concerns about road safety and public order along the busy highway corridor.

A visit by Channel One News shows that the outer lane has now been cleared, restoring smoother traffic flow and easing pressure on commuters.

Businesses in the area are also gradually returning to normal operations following the improvement in traffic conditions.
