Chinese judge brings justice to remote ethnic regions
Imagine a judicial job where getting to work means strapping onto a zip-line above a roaring river canyon, with a national emblem strapped to your back. Meet Judge Deng Xing. For years, he has carried the courtroom directly into the isolated mountain villages of Southwest China's Yunnan Province. He helps bridge the gap between formal legal systems and local customs, holding court sessions in villagers' cornfields and courtyards. CGTN's Feng Yilei takes us deep into the mountains to see how grassroots dedication, rural revitalization and a new generation of judiciary workers are helping bringing justice to some of China's most remote ethnic communities. #CPC105 #frontlinestory #China #ruleoflaw
