BREAKING: Senate votes to limit Trump's Iran war powers

The United States Senate has voted 50 to 48 in favor of a resolution directing an end to hostilities with Iran, with four Republicans voting alongside the majority of Democrats.

The measure is a concurrent resolution, so it does not need Trump's signature and it does not carry the weight of law. Still, it symbolically highlights the lack of consent from Congress for the war with Iran.
