Renowned legal practitioner Tsatsu Tsikata has cautioned the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) against complacency in office, urging the party to remain focused on its core values and long-term vision for Ghana.
He delivered the keynote address at a lecture and exhibition held in Accra to mark the 79th birthday of former President Jerry John Rawlings under the theme “From Revolution to the Fourth Republic: The Rawlings Legacy.”
Tsikata stressed the need for continuous self-assessment within the NDC, encouraging the party to regularly evaluate its relevance and value proposition to the Ghanaian people.
The event brought together political figures, scholars, and stakeholders to reflect on Ghana's democratic journey and the enduring legacy of Rawlings.
