Member of Parliament for Yendi, Abdul-Fatawu Alhassan, has indicated that President John Mahama is expected to appoint substantive ministers for the Ministries of Defence and Environment as part of a broader government reshuffle.

This follows the deaths of two former sector ministers in a helicopter crash last year, which left key positions vacant.

Speaking on Breakfast Daily on Channel One TV, he dismissed suggestions of delay or indecision at the Presidency, insisting that President John Dramani Mahama is deliberate in his approach and will make the appointments at the appropriate time.

He added that the expected reshuffle may also include changes at the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources as government finalises its administrative realignments.
