A lifeline through the ruins: Tian Yuan carved out a path of hope

In March 2025, a magnitude-7.9 earthquake struck Myanmar, leaving widespread devastation and thousands of casualties. Among the first international rescue teams on the ground was China's Search and Rescue Team. In the ruins of Mandalay, firefighter Tian Yuan and his teammates worked against time, digging through concrete and debris in search of survivors. For Communist Party members, dedication is not something only declared. It is carried out at the site of disaster, where every second counts. CGTN reporter Cen Ziyuan has the story.
