‘VOID OF REALITY LIE’: Trump keeps pushing reflecting pool ‘vandals’ conspiracy

President Trump continues to claim vandalism is to blame for the large pieces of liner that have been floating in the water at the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool. The president also claimed – again without evidence -- that somebody put fertilizer in the pool causing the massive algae bloom. Trump told reporters the pool would have to be drained again to repair the more than 14-million-dollar renovation job, a reportedly 'no-bid' contract, that he ordered back in April.
