'No one is bigger than NPP' - Kwadwo Poku reacts to Kennedy Agyapong tensions; addresses NDC 'lies'
Former NPP Flagbearer aspirant, Kwadwo Poku Nsafoah has weighed in on the growing tensions involving former Assin Central MP and former presidential aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong.
Speaking on Citi FM's Eyewitness News, Poku argued that while Kennedy Agyapong remains an influential figure within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), no individual is bigger than the party itself. He maintained that the NPP would survive even if Kennedy chose to leave, although he would personally encourage reconciliation and dialogue.
Poku also cautioned against calls for disciplinary action, stressing that Kennedy Agyapong's concerns should be addressed through engagement rather than confrontation. He noted that Kennedy's significant support base within the party makes it important for party elders to act swiftly to preserve unity ahead of future elections.
His comments come amid increasing debate within the NPP following Kennedy Agyapong's criticism of the party's leadership and governance record, as well as his warning that he could reveal more information if provoked.
