Renowned legal practitioner Tsatsu Tsikata has cautioned the governing National Democratic Congress against complacency in government, urging the party to use the commemoration of the 79th birthday of Jerry John Rawlings as an opportunity for reflection and renewal.
Speaking as keynote speaker at a lecture and exhibition held under the theme “From Revolution to the Fourth Republic: The Rawlings Legacy”, Mr. Tsikata stressed the need for the NDC to continually evaluate its relevance, performance, and value proposition to the Ghanaian people.
He urged party leaders and members to reflect critically on the future of the party and the broader vision for national development, emphasizing that political success should not lead to complacency.
The event formed part of activities marking what would have been the 79th birthday of former President Rawlings, whose influence continues to shape Ghana's political landscape.
