UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer resigns following political pressure

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced he's resigning after less than two years in office. He's been under pressure to quit after his Labour Party suffered major defeats in recent local elections. Labour politician Andy Burnham has announced he will run to replace Starmer as Labour Party leader.
