NADMO Appeals to Engineers & Planners to Dredge Tano and Samre Rivers

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in the Wassa Amenfi West Municipality is appealing for urgent intervention to address the worsening flooding situation in Samreboi.
Municipal Deputy NADMO Director, Christopher Bevel, is calling on Engineers and Planners, owned by businessman Ibrahim Mahama, to assist in dredging the River Tano and River Samre to improve water flow and reduce recurring floods in the area.
According to NADMO, the persistent flooding is displacing more residents, damaging properties, and placing significant pressure on relief centres in the municipality.
Authorities believe that dredging the heavily silted rivers will be a key long-term solution to mitigate the impact of seasonal rains and protect vulnerable communities.You are watching a video on the YouTube channel of Channel One TV.
