Only 60 of 140 Staff Live on Campus at St. Augustine’s College
The Headmaster of St. Augustine's College, Rev. Fr. Dr. Patrick Godfred Appiah, has raised concerns over an acute shortage of residential accommodation for teaching staff at the school.
He described the situation as an urgent challenge that requires immediate infrastructure investment to improve staff welfare and academic delivery.
Speaking at the launch of the school's 97th anniversary and a project by the 2002 year group to support staff accommodation, he noted that out of 140 teaching staff, only 60 reside on campus.
The headmaster stressed that addressing the accommodation gap is critical to improving efficiency, retention, and the overall learning environment at the institution.
