Kujooni Residents Appeal for Health Workers’ Accommodation

Residents of Kujooni in the Saboba District of the Northern Region are calling on the District Assembly to provide decent accommodation for health workers to improve healthcare delivery in the community.

The appeal was made during the installation of a new Utindaan, where residents highlighted the challenges facing health personnel and the impact on access to quality healthcare services.

Community members believe that providing suitable housing for health workers will help attract and retain medical professionals, ultimately improving healthcare outcomes in the area.

They are therefore urging the Saboba District Assembly to prioritise the construction of accommodation facilities for health staff serving the community.
