Iran World Cup player: 'It's our culture, when things get difficult, we perform better'
Iranian winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh has expressed his team's love for the Mexican people after Iran's historic 0-0 draw with Belgium extended their unbeaten World Cup run.
Jahanbakhsh described the hospitality the team has received while based in Mexico as "unbelievable" and thanked local supporters for making them feel welcome throughout the tournament.
The Iranian team returned to their base in Tijuana on June 21, right after their game in Los Angeles.
