Former Fed Chair Alan Greenspan dies at 100
Former Fed Reserve Chair Alan Greenspan has died at the age of 100. He served five terms as Chairman of the Federal Reserve after being appointed to that job by four different presidents. Greenspan dealt with multiple economic challenges over his tenure, from the 1987 stock market crash to a pair of deep recessions. Greenspan also served over a major surge in stock prices and a 10-year economic boom that began in March 1991.
