FIFA turns to US universities to assure top quality pitches during World Cup

With World Cup action in full swing, many teams from around the world are playing their games in U.S. stadiums known for artificial turf pitches.

But FIFA has invested heavily in research from U.S. universities to make sure the playing fields are the right mix of real, living grass.
