Iran prepares for World Cup match against Belgium

Iran takes on Belgium in their second match in Group G of the 2026 World Cup on Sunday, June 21.

Iran's team says their preparations for the tournament have suffered numerous disruptions due to the war back home, and strict conditions imposed by the US during the World Cup.

Their coach, Amir Ghalenoei, has called the various challenges an 'injustice'.
