In the Father's Day edition of Upside Down, hosted by Frema Adunyame, Senior Pastor of Pleasant Place Church in Accra and Chancellor of the University of Gold Coast (UGC), Bishop Gideon Titi-Ofei, shared a deeply personal and inspiring account of how he met his wife and their journey to marriage.

He revealed that he first met his wife in Bible school when he was 22 and she was 20, recalling how she initially turned down his proposal. Despite the rejection, he said he remained focused on his values and desire for a godly marriage.

Bishop Titi-Ofei explained that his admiration for strong family values, shaped by his parents, influenced his decision to pursue marriage seriously. After reconnecting years later, the relationship eventually led to marriage within months.

He also shared insights on faith, courtship, and building a strong Christian home, encouraging young people to prioritize character, purpose, and spiritual alignment in relationships.

The conversation formed part of a heartfelt Father's Day special celebrating fatherhood, marriage, and family life.
