Mental health professionals at the Accra Psychiatric Hospital are urging Ghanaians to pay closer attention to their mental well-being following a reported increase in mental health-related cases across the country.
The appeal was made during a donation exercise by the National Petroleum Authority at the facility.
Experts say early attention to mental health challenges is critical in preventing complications and improving recovery outcomes.
The call comes amid growing concerns over stress, anxiety, and other mental health conditions affecting individuals across different age groups in Ghana.
