The National Disaster Management Organization (National Disaster Management Organization) has confirmed that more than 1,300 people have been displaced following severe flooding at Samreboi in the Western Region.

The flooding was triggered after the Samre River burst its banks due to continuous heavy rainfall, sending water into homes, farmlands, and major access roads.

Many residents have been forced to evacuate to higher ground as authorities assess the extent of damage and coordinate emergency response efforts.
