US and Iran prepare for crucial talks in Switzerland

Senior officials from the United States and Iran are preparing for high-level talks in Switzerland aimed at advancing a memorandum of understanding signed earlier this week.

The negotiations come amid continued tensions in Lebanon, disputes over the Strait of Hormuz, and growing pressure on mediators including Qatar and Pakistan to keep diplomatic efforts on track.
