Heavy rainfall has caused severe flooding in Adutor, a community in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region, leaving parts of the area submerged.

The floods have inundated basic schools and the Adutor Health Centre, disrupting both teaching and learning activities as well as access to healthcare services.

Residents are assessing the extent of the damage as authorities monitor the situation and affected institutions grapple with the impact of the rising waters.
