The proposed Keta Port Project has taken a significant step forward following the approval of its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) by the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).
The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) has presented the approval certificate to the Overlord of the Anlo State, Togbui Sri III, marking a key milestone in the development process.
The approval now paves the way for investor engagement and the commencement of the next phase of the long-anticipated port project, which is expected to boost trade, logistics, and economic activity in the Volta Region.
Authorities say the project remains a strategic infrastructure investment aimed at strengthening Ghana's maritime capacity and regional connectivity.
