The Clean Up Accra initiative, spearheaded by Zoomlion Ghana Limited in partnership with Channel One TV, the Ghana Police Service, and NADMO, has successfully concluded its week-long sanitation campaign with a major desilting and dredging exercise at Laboma in the La Dade-Kotopon Municipality.

The campaign, which covered more than 20 communities across Accra, focused on improving environmental sanitation, clearing choked drains, and reducing the risk of flooding in vulnerable areas of the capital.

Organisers say the initiative forms part of broader efforts to promote cleaner communities, strengthen flood prevention measures, and encourage public participation in environmental management.
