War impact on Lebanon: Officials warn 10% economic drop, $20 billion damage

The conflict between Hezbollah and Israel and the wider US–Israel confrontation with Iran are hitting Lebanon again, as it continues to recover from the 2024 war and the 2019 financial collapse. Officials warn the current escalation could shrink the economy by up to 10% and cause up to $20 billion in total damage.
