President John Dramani Mahama has presented Black Stars jerseys to prominent global dignitaries at the Consultative Conference on the UN Slavery Resolution.

Among the recipients were Dr. Julius Garvey, son of Pan-African icon Marcus Garvey, Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, and Algerian Speaker of Parliament Azouz Nasri.

The symbolic gesture was made as part of the conference's efforts to promote unity, shared heritage, and solidarity in the global push for reparatory justice and acknowledgment of the transatlantic slave trade.

The event brought together Heads of State, ministers, traditional leaders, and international partners to advance discussions on historical accountability and justice for people of African descent.
