ESPA Laments Poor Sanitation Conditions in Ghana

The Environmental Science Providers Association (ESPA) is lamenting the deteriorating state of sanitation in Ghana, warning that earlier gains in waste management are being reversed.

According to the association, the decline is largely due to a lack of sustained government support for effective sanitation systems and environmental management.

Speaking on Channel One TV's Breakfast Daily, the Executive Secretary of ESPA, Ama Ofori Antwi, noted that recent flooding incidents across parts of the country have further exposed weaknesses in Ghana's sanitation infrastructure.

She called for urgent action to strengthen waste management systems and improve environmental discipline nationwide.
