Ablakwa: Netherlands to return 2,000 artefacts; Germany also plans repatriation.

Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa says participants at the Next Steps Reparatory Justice Conference in Ghana have received great news from the Dutch government that it has catalogued 2,000 artefacts which it has decided to return to the “motherland”, and carried out a symbolic presentation to President Mahama last night. He added that the German government has also identified artefacts and is willing to return them.
