‘The Water Could Take Over My Home’ — Flood Victim in Adutor Speaks
A resident in Adutor in the South Tongu district , Peter Amu, has recounted the devastating impact flooding has had on his household and poultry farm.
Speaking to Citi News, he said the floods have caused significant losses, disrupted his livelihood and left his family living in fear whenever it rains.
Mr. Amu expressed concern that if urgent measures are not taken to address the problem, future floods could completely overtake his home and compound.
His experience highlights the growing challenges faced by residents in flood-prone communities as seasonal rains continue to affect lives, property and businesses.
