Muntaka Mubarak to Be Summoned Over Sedina Attionu Custody Issue
The Minority in Parliament says it will be compelled to summon the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mubarak, if government fails to provide full details on the whereabouts of convicted former MASLOC CEO Sedina Attionu-Tamakloe.
The caucus is insisting on clear information regarding her arrival in Ghana and confirmation of her current prison status, following a 10-year sentence handed down by the Accra High Court.
Speaking to journalists, MP for Effia, Isaac Boamah-Nyarko, stressed that Parliament must ensure accountability and transparency in the handling of the case.
The Minority maintains that failure to provide the requested details will trigger further parliamentary action, including summoning the Interior Minister.
