Israel strikes southern Lebanon shortly after ceasefire announcement with Hezbollah

Al Jazeera's Heidi Pett joins live from Tyre, Lebanon. She says that just 30 minutes after the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah was meant to take effect, at least four major Israeli air strikes have already been reported across southern Lebanon.

She reports that the strikes hit multiple locations, including Nabatieh, Kfar Tebnit, and Kfar Sir, alongside separate Israeli artillery shelling in another area. According to Pett, the situation on the ground “doesn't feel much like a ceasefire,” with renewed military activity quickly following the announcement.
