The dispute has sparked outrage among residents, former students, and prominent personalities, including Supreme Court Judge Yonni Kulendi, while President Mahama has denied authorizing the demolition.

Also tonight, police are warning students nationwide against acts of violence after the arrest of six final-year students in the Upper East Region over allegations of arson, assault and destruction of school property as the WASSCE draws to a close.
