The Clean-Up Accra Campaign has extended its flood mitigation efforts to the Tema Metropolis, carrying out a series of desilting exercises in selected communities.

The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to improve drainage systems, reduce flood risks, and enhance sanitation in vulnerable areas ahead of the peak rainy season.

The campaign, which has seen activities across several parts of the Greater Accra Region, continues to focus on clearing drains and waterways to improve water flow and prevent flooding.

Residents and local authorities have welcomed the intervention, expressing hope that the exercise will help protect lives and property during heavy rains.
