LEAP Programme Set to Enroll 50,000 More Households

About 50,000 new households are expected to be enrolled onto Ghana's Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) Programme following a recent reassessment exercise.

The expansion is aimed at widening the programme's reach and strengthening support for vulnerable households across the country.

Government is also considering a marginal increase in LEAP grant amounts to help preserve the value of cash transfers amid the rising cost of living and ensure beneficiaries continue to receive meaningful support.

The move forms part of broader efforts to enhance social protection and improve the welfare of low-income households nationwide.
