After months of inactivity, the contractor working on the stalled Sewua Hospital road project has returned to site following repeated complaints from residents, motorists, and other stakeholders over the deteriorating condition of the road.

The 2-kilometre stretch serves as the main access route to the Sewua Regional Hospital, a major healthcare facility that is reported to be about 90 percent complete.

The poor state of the road has been a source of concern for commuters and residents who believe the completion of the route is essential to the full operationalisation of the hospital.

The resumption of work is expected to improve accessibility, ease transportation challenges, and support healthcare delivery in the Ashanti Region.
